Every penny Saroir earns is accounted for in public. The split between the Knowledge Foundation and platform operations is locked in the Foundation's governing documents. It cannot be changed by a business decision.

Enterprise Hiring Intelligence
Anonymised, aggregate talent-signal dashboards for companies. No PII crosses the boundary. Employers see verified capability distributions, not individual profiles, unless the contributor explicitly opts in.
Individual Subscriptions
Optional paid tier for individuals who want advanced analytics on their own contribution record, priority MCS scheduling, and extended credential export formats. The AGPL layer remains free.
Data Licensing
Anonymised, domain-level knowledge graphs licensed to research institutions and policy bodies. Individual data is never sold. Licensing agreements are published on this page.
Community Benefit Spotlights
Organisations can sponsor visibility for community benefit initiatives. Every spotlight is clearly labelled, community-vetted, and limited to three per domain per quarter.
CSR Per-Hire Contributions
When a company hires through Saroir intelligence, a per-hire CSR contribution is added. This goes directly to the Foundation, not to operations. The rate is published and fixed.
Revenue Constitution
Rules that cannot be bent.
The Revenue Constitution is not a policy document. It is a set of binding rules locked in company articles that govern how Saroir handles money, permanently.
The split is locked, not promised
The revenue split is written into the Foundation's governing documents. Changing it requires unanimous Governance Council consent. No board, no investor, no acquirer can alter the ratio unilaterally.
Net revenue, not net profit
The majority goes to the Foundation on net revenue, not net profit. This prevents the operating entity from inflating costs to reduce the Foundation's share. Revenue is counted before operational expenses are deducted.
No cross-access between entities
The Trust, AGPL layer, and proprietary layer share no database, no deployment, and no auth context. The Trust cannot access individual user data. The platform cannot access Trust accounting.

This page is not a quarterly report. It is a live, real-time view of every penny earned and where it went. When Saroir earns revenue, you see it here, with a breakdown by stream, allocation, and disbursement status.
Trust Allocation
Where the 60% goes.
The Saroir Knowledge Foundation receives 60% of net revenue. Here is how that money is allocated across four categories, each with its own governance and accountability structure.
Community Grants
Direct financial support to contributors from under-resourced regions. Grant decisions are made by elected community representatives, not Saroir staff.
Scholarships
Domain-specific scholarships funded by platform revenue. Selection criteria are public. Recipients are chosen by domain moderators and community vote.
Platform Reinvestment
Infrastructure, hosting, open source tooling, and development of the AGPL knowledge layer. Every spend above INR 10,000 is logged on this page.
Emergency Support
Urgent support for contributors facing critical need: medical emergencies, displacement, or sudden loss of livelihood. Disbursed within 72 hours of approval.
The Saroir Knowledge Foundation is a separate legal entity from the platform operating entity. It has its own board, its own bank accounts, its own audit cycle, and zero cross-access with the AGPL or proprietary layers. The Saroir Knowledge Foundation is registered. The Trust cannot be dissolved, acquired, or merged without Governance Council consent.
Governance
Who holds us accountable.
Transparency without accountability is performance. These are the bodies that ensure the money goes where it should and that no one, including the founders, can change the rules alone.
Governance Council
7 elected membersElected by contributors once the platform has sufficient active participation. Not yet active. Oversees the Revenue Constitution. Any change to the revenue split, revenue stream definitions, or Trust allocation categories requires unanimous Council consent. Elections are annual, open to all contributors with 6+ months of verified activity.
Trust Board
5 trusteesAppointed at Foundation registration. Will be named publicly once appointed. Manages the Saroir Knowledge Foundation (registered). Trustees are independent of the platform operating entity. They approve grant disbursements, publish quarterly audits, and ensure Foundation funds are used exclusively for stated purposes.
Community Auditors
Rotating, elected quarterlyOpen to nominations. Applications open with the public launch. Any contributor can stand for Community Auditor. Auditors have read-only access to anonymised financial logs and publish independent reports. Their findings are posted on this page unedited.
